The Heritage Farm reopens as something different
The Heritage Farm grand opening on Saturday, July 18 from 10:00 a.m. to noon closes a long chapter. For over twenty years the site ran as the Heritage Garden, a plot-by-plot setup where individual residents tended their own beds. The renovation reframes it. LARCS is positioning the reopened farm as a community gathering place rather than a collection of assigned plots, and the Resident Farmer Program on the LARCS events schedule is the new mechanism for participation.
